Compliance & legal scope
402tuning is a professional file service for workshops. We help you get more out of an engine and gearbox — but never at the cost of emissions, safety or the law.
What we never do
These modifications are illegal for road use in the EU or theft-relevant. We do not offer them, not even "for export" — and the platform refuses to create them.

DPF / FAP off
The diesel particulate filter keeps soot out of the air. Removing it is illegal for road use.

EGR off
Exhaust gas recirculation cuts nitrogen oxides (NOx). Disabling it breaks the type approval.

AdBlue / SCR / NOx off
Selective catalytic reduction removes NOx. Switching it off is illegal and heavily fined.

Lambda / O2 off
Oxygen sensors control the mixture and the catalyst. Disabling them raises emissions.

Catalyst off
The catalytic converter neutralises toxic gases. Removing it is illegal for road use.

OPF / GPF off
The petrol particulate filter traps fine particles. Removing it is illegal for road use.

Immobiliser off
Theft protection. We never disable or bypass it.

Odometer changes
Changing the mileage is fraud. We never touch odometer data.
Convenience and motorsport items need your acknowledgement
Some solutions (speed limiter, Start/Stop, specific non-emission DTCs, swirl flaps, speedo correction, pop & bang, cold-start noise, rev limiter, Stage 2/3) are legal only on closed tracks, off public roads or after export. You confirm the intended use with a checkbox before ordering; it is stored with the order.

Every request is reviewed by a human
Free-text requests are scanned for excluded items (in Czech, English and Russian). If something looks like an emission-control or theft-relevant change, the order is flagged for the tuner and is never accepted automatically.
